Dr. Partha Pratim Mandal is a senior General Surgeon, Consultant, and academic faculty member with more than 18 years of experience in clinical surgery, laparoscopic procedures, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and surgical research. He is currently serving as Associate Professor of General Surgery at the College of Medicine & Sagore Dutta Hospital (COMSDH), Kolkata, a premier government medical institution of West Bengal.

He is widely involved in academic conferences, surgical education, and peer-reviewed research publications, with particular interest in hernia surgery, biliary surgery, Laser surgery, uro-surgery, Pediatric surgery, laparoscopic techniques, anorectal disorders, and surgical outcome research.

Dr. Partha Pratim Mandal has performed over 275,000 surgical procedures since 2003, encompassing laparoscopic, open, and laser surgeries—ranging from minor day-care procedures to complex, long-duration operations—conducted in both elective and emergency settings.
